Grant Maxwell is the author of The Dynamics of Transformation: Tracing an Emerging World View, How Does It Feel?: Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and the Philosophy of Rock and Roll, The Walk, and Alphabet Snakes. He is an editor at Persistent Press and Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology, and he has served as an editor at Vanderbilt University Press and as a professor of English at Baruch College and Lehman College in New York. He has written for American Songwriter magazine, the Journal of Religion and Popular Culture, and the Archai journal, and he holds a PhD from the City University of New York’s Graduate Center. He’s also a musician, and he lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and two sons.
